Notă biografică

Stuart Deabill is a natural disciple of the holy trinity music, football and clobber. Having walked out of Ealing Green High School without an exam to his name, he knew all he needed were the lyrics of Paul Weller and Jerry Dammers, the West Stand of Stamford Bridge and the clothes of Stuart s in Shepherd s Bush to see him through his formative years. He has then gone through the last three decades in various guises and has always been on the move looking for the next earner. Supersonic is Stuart s third book and the third in a series that has already featured The Jam and London Clubland. Born and raised in Kent, Ian has an admiration for writers such as Arthur Conan Doyle, Pete McKenna and John King, and tends to read any book with music connections. His early fascination with music kicked off after he bought his first 7-inch record, That s Entertainment by The Jam, back in 1981. From then on, Ian embarked on a musical discovery that included Northern Soul, Reggae, Ska, Punk and early House Music and bands such as the Small Faces, The Prisoners and The Jam. When not writing, he plays drums with Aunt Nelly.
