Robert S. Dieter, MD, RVT, FACC, is a clinical assistant professor in Loyola University's Department of Cardiology. He specializes in the management of complex vascular diseases, routinely caring for patients with strokes, TIAs, and carotid artery blockages requiring angioplasty or stenting. A member of the editorial board of two medical journals, Dieter has written about new and potentially safer methods of treating blockages in the renal arteries.
