This guide to dermatological treatments provides concise yet comprehensive, up-to-date overviews of treatment guidelines and pearls for a plethora of skin diseases. Notă biografică

Andreas Katsambas is a Professor of Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Athens, Greece. Professor Katsambas has held various leading positions within scientific societies, including as President of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (2008–10), President of the Hellenic Society of Dermatology and Venereology, board member of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) and Chairman of the ILDS Awards Committee, and member of the American Academy of Dermatology – Committee of International Affairs. In 2011 he was inaugurated as an international member of the American Dermatological Association and in 2013 was elected International Board Observer of the American Academy of Dermatology. Professor Katsambas has published more than 300 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and has co-edited five books. He is a member of various editorial boards which include the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Archives of Dermatology, and the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
Torello Lotti, MD, is Full Professor and Chair of Dermatology at Florence University, Italy, having previously been Full Professor and Chair of Dermatology at Rome “G.Marconi” University (2004–10). Professor Lotti was Editor in Chief of the Journal of the European Society of Dermatology and Venereology from 1992 to 2002, and since 2002 he has been Editor of the Section of Dermatology for the International Journal of Immunology and Pharmacology. He has held leading positions in various societies, including as President of the European Society for Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology (2003–4), President of the Italian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (SIDeMaST; 2009–10), President of the International Society of Dermatology (2009–10), and President-Elect of the World Health Academy. Professor Lotti has published more than 400 papers in PubMed-cited journals and is the author or editor of 16 books.
Clio Dessinioti is a Dermatologist-Venereologist and a clinical/research fellow at the Department of Dermatology of the University of Athens, in Andreas Sygros Hospital, Greece, since 2007. Dr Dessinioti has published 50 articles in Greek and international peer-reviewed medical journals and is a member of various scientific societies, including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. She has been invited as a speaker in national and international meetings and has participated as the author of chapters in 5 books.
Angelo Massimiliano D'Erme is a specialist in Dermatology and Venereology in Florence. Dr. D'Erme has published 40 articles in international peer-reviewed medical journals and 5 book's chapters. Furthermore he has published two books as editor/associated editor.  Dr. D'Erme is member of several scientific society, including European Academy of Dermatology (EADV) and European Academy of Allergy and Clinica Immunology (EAACI). Lastly he is a member of the editorial boards of the Dermatologic Therapy and Journal of Pigmentary Disorders.
