Descriere
Descriere de la o altă ediție sau format:
The book provides an introduction to the physics and technology of medical ultrasound. The book is written with a clinical readership in mind. For the second edition the field had moved on quite a lot in the 7 years since the first edition. Consequently the second edition contained several new chapters (3D, contrast agents, elastography); the safety chapter had an extensive rewrite; there was more minor updating of other chapters. Technology has not moved on to the same extent in the 6 years since the second edition was submitted. The same chapter structure would still be used, with updates for each chapter.
